Sean walked into Walmart. Time to go put stuff on shelves... again. It was five in the morning; the store would open in two hours. Sean hated his job, but, heck, at least he could make some money this way. Still, Sean wished he could work at some slightly more exciting job. Well, it was that of Friendly's. Sean just couldn't imagine himself serving people ice cream. At least shelving items didn't usually involve cranky customers the way serving food always seemed to. With a smile at that thought, Sean headed into work.
Sean walked into the back of the store where the supplies were supposed to be stored. He found what he needed to put up: eye makeup. He took a box of mascara and a box of eyeshadow and went to the cosmetics department to place them on the proper hangers. While he worked, his mind started to drift to the football field. Sean was not their best player; he was really better at basketball. But it was fall, so there was no basketball. The football team had their first game on Friday.
Sean yawned. The box was still mostly full. This was going to take a while. Oh well, at least everything else in Sean's life was going right.

Amora yawned loudly as she started to put her outfit away. She had a long night at work and was ready to run to the dorms and get some shut eye before her math test at ten. Amora pulled on her gray side bag folding over the lip to find her lip gloss. As she searched she found nothing.... NOTHING. Her eyes went wide and she raised an eye brow. Where had her super soft lip gloss for ten bucks gone. She was normally not a girly girl but she hated chapped lips, her lips always turned greenish red and no more orange juice for awhile. With the weather she needed to restock before going home to bed.
Well it wouldn't hate to stop by and use that employee discount she keeps hearing about. Amora pulled up her bag and headed out into the floor. She yawned once again before turning into the makeup alley. Amor looked over the lip gloss with a lip out to the right, her light brown eyes narrowed in deep thought. After some thinking she stopped to look around maybe something was on sale. As she scanned the area she spotted a male worker putting away makeup of all things.
Amora picked up the lowest cost of lip soft gloss she could find and sneaked up softly behind him. She lifted her hand carefully and tapped him on the top of the head. " You seem Lost. " she added with a smile.

Sean looked up to see a girl about his age picking up some lip gloss. The first thing he noticed was her hair; it was bright orange, so it was pretty hard to miss. She looked familiar, but Sean couldn't put his finger on where he knew her from. Oh, that's right! She was another employee at Walmart! They had different shifts, so the only time Sean saw her was when he was working extra hours.
She asked if he was lost. "Oh, no. I work here. I was told to go put all this eye makeup away." Sean gestured towards the eye makeup. "It's rather boring," he added.

She giggled a little under her breath. " Well I kind of guessed just normally..." she spaced off a little and looked down at the box fulled with makeup below boy. " OH there it is!" She almost yelled seeing her type of lip gloss in the box on top of the cover up. " Yay!" She almost yelled again. Amora pushed Sean only slightly to get ahold of it really quickly. " Oh sorry give me a minute... thanks"
Amora stood up fast trying to get out of the way. " Well umm I guess I should let...." she start to say before spacing out again one more time, titling her head a little. " I think I've seen you before somewhere else...." She thought to herself making a load hmmming sound. " Math Class? Minute Hill prep?" she asked right away without letting him answer or say anything first.

((Sorry, I keep forgetting about this thread.))
Sean continued shelving makeup while he listened to Amora. Then she asked if she was in her math class. Oh, that's right! They were in the same math class. Amora was a year older than Sean, though. She probably took Algebra 1, Part 1 freshman year; Sean had skipped straight to Algebra 1. She didn't pay attention in class too often, as Sean recalled. Oh well, he didn't like to pry into other's business, so he wasn't going to mention it.
"Oh yeah, I remember you!" She sat a few rows behind him, so he didn't see much of her. Sean smiled as he hung up another tube of eyeliner up onto the shelf. He hated his job so much, but at least that meant money. That's why he worked at all. Well, at least he was with a fairly interesting person. That would make things better.

Amora looked back at those days in shame. She didn't do to well in that class even after she started to try, but at one point the teacher passed her. She stood there thinking that over as Sean answer her. She nodded her head with a smile, pulling out a piece of gum. She popped it into the her month and crewed it loudly as she tried to think of something to talk about or if she just leave him alone.
" Yeah that was me.. I think was three rows down." she said finally. Moving back slowly as she talked. " soo... " she said still thinking " Umm" she looked to check out and then back to Sean " What ya been up to lately?" She asked trying to keep it lively.

Sean nodded. He was tempted to say that she was the person who never paid attention, but he didn't want to offend her, so he skipped on that comment. It would probably be too rude; Sean knew that he would think so if someone told him that. Well, he actually paid attention, even if he was a B student, so nobody was likely to tell him they remembered him as the guy who never paid attention, were they?
Sean shrugged when asked what he'd been up to lately. "Uh, football mostly. I prefer basketball, though. Mostly doing football because my friends are," he explained, hoping he didn't say too much. "You?" he asked her. He wondered if she was still stuck in tenth grade math or not. But, again, that was an offensive question, so Sean didn't ask.

She put her fore fingers into her back pockets keeping the lip gloss out so no one would think she was stealing it though that didn't sound so bad right now with how outrageous the pieces were. " Well ..." she started looking up to the large bright lights. " I guess its always good to have some friends around it might make the game more fun who knows. " She was never might for the that answer, she always thought that you should do things because you want to not because you think you should. But oh well people are people and everyone can think for themselves.
Amora looked around at the eye shadow with a wow, A nice color of blue was on sale, That would be great for a look she was thinking about. She took the shadow quickly before she changed her mind.. " Well I'm doing pretty good myself.. Doing cross and the play.. Its Romeo and Juliet this year ..." Amora told him even if he never asked. " I got thought 10th grade Math fillay Now I'm on 11th. " She dazed off a little and then snapped back to Sean. " But yeah things are pretty good there..." She was losing what she going to say, Her mind went blank and she just stood there. Her hands behind her back.

Sean watched Amora pick up some eyeshadow. Sean did not shop for makeup, for obvious reasons, but he figured that would look cool. Not that he would know. Sean was not a good person for girls to ask if their makeup looked good. He didn't really like it when girls wore a ton of makeup anyway. Especially when Bekah wore red lipstick. Sean didn't like to kiss her that way, his mouth got covered with the stuff. Gross.
"Well, sounds like you're doing well, then," Sean said. Well, maybe not if she was still a year behind in math. "Are you in the play, or doing tech work?" Sean figured he'd steer the topic in a lighter direction. Sean figured she'd be a tech, that just seemed more like the kind of thing she'd do, most of the girls in the play were girly girls, though not all. Sean continued to hang makeup up. The box was about half full now, or half empty, which in this case was the more positive way of saying it.
