Rachel blinked and tilted her head back on the tree she was leaning on. She was sitting on the ground and at that point was quite frustrated. The girl twiddled her pencil between her fingers before putter a piece of paper in her bag. She was big on recycling and flat out refused to litter, even if her bag was over flowing. Though, that wasn't the point; the point was that she didn't have the patience to draw at the time.
Clicking her tongue she opened her eyes and looked at the sketch pad in front of her. Maybe she wasn't meant to draw today? She had to wonder about that. Sure, she loved to draw but maybe she was supposed to take a break. Shaking her head she sighed, if she was going to be an artist she had to push herself to do better rather then giving up. That was what she was supposed to think.
The girl glanced around the park looking for various things to draw. Her eyebrows furrowed together as she sighed. This was going to be a long afternoon. Suddenly turning her head she saw a bench with someone on it. Sure, it might sound stalkerish, but it looked like it would make a nice picture. Maybe it was that simple. Turning herself towards the bench she started bringing her pencil to her paper looking up every so often.
Rachel lost herself in the picture thinking about everything she had ever drawn up to this picture, maybe she was meant to draw people in a not-so-seemingly-posing pose. It sounded like fun, sure the animals were great, she truly loved them, but that day she was sick of drawing squirrels and chipmunks. It was worth acting like a stalker about, or at least in her opinion. She felt her lips twitch into a smirk then sighed as she finished the contour of the drawing. Now, there was only shading to do. The girl looked at her paper as it suddenly got darker. She looked off the sketch pad and toward a pair of shoes that she didn't realize was there before. She let out a small 'eep and covered her mouth looking back at her sketch then quickly closed the pad.
