If only...they'd shut up. This was his most disliked class, how he wished the period were over. There only a few decent kids that actually wished to learn. Erik sighed and scratched the back of his head. "Alright listen up I won't repeat myself." The room fell silent, when he said he wouldn't repeat himself he meant it. Someone who doesn't hear him gets the clueless treatment. Questions of 'What did you say?' are followed with 'I'm not sure.' Erik smiled and clasped his hands behind his back. "Now I know I'm easy going-" A murmur of agreement bubbled from the class. "But!" A groan was released. "My class is still just that, a class. Now I know you aren't all musical prodigies." Erik smiled as the class erupted into giggles. Obviously they weren't.
"But that doesn't excuse you all. Get to work." Smiling the music/drama teacher resumed his walk down the aisles. His classes were always in the most interesting of places. Yesterday it was the roof, today the auditorium. Erik reached the stage and lifted himself off, grabbing his attendance sheet and silently marking off the heads her noticed. The latest assignment was to see how hard it was to write a piece of music, getting the notes right and then having to play it in front of the class. His thoughts drifted to his little protege, Arabella. This assignment was a cakewalk for her. Since she composed an all. Humming softly a tune he had helped Arabella compose he looked around for hands raised in the air and smiled to himself seeing none.
Letting a scowl grace his pale features he walked up to a group of boys who weren't working silently. Using the best eerie voice he could muster he spoke lowly. "Is there a problem?" The boys jumped, visibly shaken by his sudden appearance. The students never knew what to call him, since "The Phantom of Minute Hill" was Arabella. Though The Opera Ghost had taken place of Mr. Ange thanks to the jokers in his class. "N-nothing Mr. Ange." The frightened boys turned back to their work and started to compose. All was quiet....for the most part. Taking his place back at the stage he watched over his students carefully, waiting for one group to cave.

Blake sighed "Listen you have to be interested in this for this to work you guys" Blake said to sevral boys and two girls "Easy for you to say, Blake, your the one that should be helping us, your a poet!" one of them said "I am not a poet Im a Senior to this school, and by the way, Poetry has almost nothing to do with composing!" he replied to the other student, Looking away from them he skanmed the area of other students, most where working silently Look you five, we have to work as a Team, It won't work if we keep on arguing" he said to them looking back "So lets do jobs, Im good at Writing just like Oscar, and ya'll are good at Strings and Bands, so lets get to work" Blake added taking control, the kids looked at one enother before going to work, he found Oscar fuddling with his thumbs "So Oscar you wanna help me write?" he asked placing a hand on Oscars shoulder, he was the oldest student in the class, and liked it when people looked up to him like a brother, Oscar had been his roomate a year ago "Sure, Blake" Oscar said.

Oh yes Erik had spotted the angry reluctance in Blake's group. Quietly stalking over he leaned over the group and peered down at their work. So far, all they had was an empty page. "Having issues?" the students jumped, why was he always silent!? "K-kinda Opera Ghost." The kids murmured. Most of them were glaring at Blake for not doing all the work himself, I mean he was a poet! "Poetry has nothing to do with composing children." The kids faces dropped a bit and they all sighed. "I don't get it though! What are we like, supposed to be doing?" One og the two girls piped up and the other's nodded.
"Well I'm sure Blake and Oscar get it...for the most part. You are creating something timeless and beautiful, you are composing a song!" Most kids in the auditorium groaned and rolled their eyes. "I know it's a bit tough but you'll feel very accomplished when it's over." Ruffling Blake's hair he smiled and turned to walk away. "Wait!" The other mousier girl had piped up. "Can you play us something? To help us I mean." Erik turned back and nodded. "I supposed I can play you a song another student wrote." Looking at each other the students eagerly dropped their work and turned their attention to the piano.
Quickly shifting through the many projects he had yet to grade he spotted the one Arabella had written. Selecting the paper carefully he placed it on the piano and let his fingers stroke the keys into life. The kids seemed amazed and murmurs broke out about the student that had composed so well. No one knew who the girl was and Erik stood up and smiled, returning back to the troubled group. "Any more questions?"

Blake looked at the teacher "I don't like it when people touch my hair" he said, quikly making it flat again with his hands, his hair was completly Disaplined so it was always straight though after a shower it went curly, and everyone knew curly hair on Blake was real funny I like that song" Oscar said, Blake looked blankly over to his friend or ex-roomate if you prefered "I agree with you there" Blake said turning his etention back to the teacher "I really was not expecting you to teach all these kids how to compose, they are'nt really into it, but of cource thats a different story for some of us" Blake added, smiling.

Erik smiled and clasped his hands behind his back. "I'm doing more than teaching them to compose. I'm teaching them a valuable life lesson. To appreciate what comes to them and help them understand the beauty and pride and creating something by yourself rather than borrowing someone else's work." Erik was obviously very passionate about what he taught, and he couldn't stand slackers. That's why he did so many projects. "And as for you two, I'm happy you're enthusiastic about this."
