Lord Voldemort was defeated by Harry Potter, after he, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley destroyed his horcruxes. The Wizarding World was put to rest, and the Death Eaters were given another chance. Those that didn't take it were placed in Azkaban with a life sentence.
2017
Harry Potter and his two faithful companions are now 36. Harry married Ginny Weasley, and together they had three children: James, Albus and Lily. Hermione Granger married Ronald Weasley, and they had two children, Hugo and Rose Weasley. Neville Longbottom became Herbology professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Pricilla Westwood was appointed Headmistress.
and now...
The year is 2020. The Golden Trio are all 39, and Ginny Weasley is 38. Lily is in her second year at Hogwarts, whilst Albus and Rose are in their fourth, and James and Hugo in the fifth. Pricilla has been Headmistress for three years, and Neville Longbottom resigned to travel the world in search of a plant that could cure all illnesses.
But the world of magic isn't as peaceful as it seems. Dark magic is started to trickle back, with descendants of former Death Eaters avenging their parents and even grandparents imprisonment. Every few weeks, a muggle is found dead, with no sign of a struggle, or physical explanation of the passing. Is the Wizarding World, and indeed the Muggle World, in danger once again?
